On-location content capture for a historical property in the heart of Portland, Oregon featuring social-first photography, videography and content creation.

Problem:

Hilton’s library of social content was missing some holiday-adjacent content to compliment the upcoming season, but needed to do so without leaning heavily on conventional Christmas decor.

Solution:

My team and I selected The Benson in Portland, Oregon as an ideal location to film content that would reflect the beauty of the winter season and the intimacy of a cold-weather stay. I joined my Creative Director as a social-shooter to capture content that could be used first on our social media channels. We came up with a shotlist of images and video and created two unique social-first videos while supporting the larger team in their photography initiatives.

Hilton Honors John Legend Experience

Live event content capture for a VIP Honors Experience at
Waldorf Astoria, Washington D.C.

Problem:

Hilton Honors is known for their many perks, but wanted to spread more awareness of their highly-coveted VIP Experiences that was available to Honors members. When John Legend announced he would be playing at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C. for an intimate crowd of 100 Honors members and their guests, we knew it was time to get the iPhone cameras rolling.

Solution:

My team and I were flown to D.C. to capture content live for the event. This content was posted live to the account’s Instagram as the experience as taking place, giving the account’s followers a VIP look at the intimiate performance. This meant that my content team and I were on the ground with iPhones and gimbals to not only shoot, but also edit and post live content while the event is happening.
